LSE's IPO Upturn

Here's a rather dry post this hot and sunny afternoon but there is a little story from Reuters on the success of the London Stock Exchange's recent IPOs (for those not doing their AMPs, Initial Public Offerings).

I'll let you read it while I go and turn on a fan somewhere...

ACCA-ctually Useful for AMPs

Whilst having a browse around the media centre part of the ACCA webpage (http://www.accaglobal.com) I noticed some articles and webinars that may be useful for some of your AMPs.

Although the webinars have been held, if you register using the form provided you are emailed a link to the presentation that was given during the webinar.  It also then has sections at the bottom titled: PDFs, speaker bio and resources giving you a wealth of further information on the topic.  

Currently there are four webinar presentations to choose from, they can be found at the bottom right hand side of the media centre page.

There were also some articles that caught my eye matching some of the AMP topics I've seen.  This month's edition of Accounting and Business has articles on evaluating your organisation, whether the best leaders are born or raised as well as an article on the uses of social media.  

Its a good site to get into the habit of using regularly to keep up to date.
